Incredible and rare ‘peacock’ wall lamp by Palwa, Germany 1960’s
Absolutely incredible and rare ‘peacock’ wall sconce by Palwa. Gilded frame surrounded by dozens of Swarovski crystals. In fantastic and fully original condition. A true piece of art that requires each stone to be set manually by hand. This lamp was the flagship model of Palwa during those days.
The previous owner created a hole in the side to pass wires, but it’s not too visible when the shade is mounted. The back plate has a bit of a scuff on the brass, but again completely hidden from view.
