Set of two Large Rare Italian Silver Plated Stirrup Cups by GUCCI
Beautiful set of two silver plated stirrup cups displaying wild animal heads. Made in Italy during the 1950’s by GUCCI. Signed ‘Made in Italy’. Great quality and beautifully and detailed carvings on the head. In great and fully original condition. The silver plating is currently in cleaned but unpolished condition and showing it’s natural aging patina. These cups go to a stirrup set, often used during the early to mid 1900’s in hunting events. Before or after the hunt a drink would be shared along the hunters while still mounted on their horses.
